If a domain is registered with us that is not already hosted or using existing nameservers, by default the domain is set to Cosmotown's nameservers.
It is then default, pointed to Cosmotown's IP address using the A Record.
We do this so that if a customer wishes to use our URL Forwarding service, it will be immediately ready to do so.
This has been confusing to some customers, so our developers are building a standard "holding page" for non-hosted domains.
However, you can have your domain point to nowhere by deleting the A Record.
Log in to your account
Click on the Domains tab on the left
Check the box next to your domain name
Click the Manage Domains, drop down menu at the top of your domains list
Click DNS (Zone File) Records
Delete each A Record
When you are finished click the green Save DNS Zone button at the top
** Please note that any changes will not save, if the green Save DNS Zone button is not clicked after changes are made.
